How many partners are required to register an LLP?

Minimum of 2 designated partners are required to register an LLP.

What if there are more than 2 designated partners/partners?

There can be more than 2 partners; however Indiastartup will charge an additional fee of Rs 2,000 for the additional partners towards DIN and Digital Signature.

Does the address proof of place of business have to be in the partner’s name?

The registered office address proof need not be in the partner’s name. We would need a No Objection Letter from the owner of the premise.

Can a LLP convert itself into a Private Limited?

As per the companies Act 2013, LLPs can convert itself into a private limited, however the number of minimum partners should be 7.

How long will it takes for the entire registration process to complete?

It depends on the documents provided by you and the Registrar of Companies approval process. It normally takes about 15 to 20 working days.

Do I have to submit physical documents?

Yes. You can either visit our office during working hours or send the documents via courier to our office.

Will you also help in regulatory compliances?
